Professor Ali Abdullah Al -Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the National Assembly, today, Wednesday, a meeting to discuss the progress of administrative, organizational and field work of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Shabwa Governorate, in the presence of Major General Kamal Hamshari, member of the Presidency, Acting Secretary -General.

Al -Kathiri was briefed during the meeting, which was attended by Professor Muhammad Al -Shaqi, Assistant Secretary -General for Governorates and Coordinants, and Sheikh Lahmar Bin Ali Lams, Chairman of the Executive Authority for the Transitional of Shabwa Governorate, and a number of heads of the General Secretariat departments, from a transitional leadership of Shabwa, on the developments of the situation in the governorate, the functioning of the executive body at the governorate level, and the executive bodies in the directorates, in addition to the difficulties and challenges that Facing it.

The meeting discussed the level of discipline and organizational performance in accordance with the requirements of institutional work and council regulations, and considering appointments and assignments to complete the structuring process on the foundations of integrity, experience and efficiency, in addition to the role of the Council in adopting issues related to the lives of citizens, and setting proposals for solutions and appropriate remedies for them in coordination with the local authority, as well Directorates, activities and various events that implement them.

Al -Kathiri praised the spirit of national responsibility that the local leadership of the transition of Shabwa Governorate, and its efforts to enhance the role of the council in the province, and activate communication with citizens and see their concerns and aspirations.

The Acting President of the Council stressed the importance of adhering to the statute of the council and its regulations, coordinating with the General Secretariat, developing practical plans for the activity of the executive body and the local leadership in the governorate and directorates of directorates, enhancing the mechanisms of the effectiveness of work, and raising the proposals to overcome the difficulties facing the work of the authority in the governorate and directorates.
