A cleaning campaign to open Al-Arish Street, which has been closed for years

This morning, Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund for the City of Aden, inaugurated a campaign to remove waste from Al-Arish Street, the link between Al-Nasr Tour and the old Al-Arish line leading to Al-Osaimi Station, which has been suspended for more than 7 years with construction waste that has obstructed traffic and changed traffic. The opening of the street comes in implementation of the directives of the Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Lamlas, and in coordination with the local authority in the district and the Priority Command, whose headquarters are located adjacent to the line, in order to expand traffic lines, facilitate the movement of vehicle drivers, and reduce congestion and the movements of citizens, especially residents of the Al-Arish neighborhood.
Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, Director General of the Cleaning Fund, follows up the campaign’s activity on a daily basis, including removing dust and cement barriers, and scraping out the waste spread along the street using a sanctuary, and transporting it to the Bir al-Nama’ah dump located in Buraiqa outside the city, in addition to assigning a number of Cleaning Fund workers.
