Minister Al-Zaouri calls on Arab and foreign organizations to present sustainable protection projects and programs

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, called on Arab and foreign organizations operating in the country to present their projects and programs in the field of social protection according to well-studied plans that are consistent with the national plan and the strategic framework for social protection emanating from the Advisory Committee for Social Protection, which is chaired by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. This came in his orientation speech that he delivered this morning to participants in the annual review of social protection programs with UNICEF for both the social care sector and the care and rehabilitation of the disabled and social care funds.
Minister Al-Zaouri appreciated the strong partnership between the Ministry and UNICEF in all aspects, including social protection programs for vulnerable groups. Emphasizing the completion of strategic plans for social protection that respond to shocks and national plans for childhood protection.
After that, Brother Saleh Mahmoud Hassan Abu Suhail, Undersecretary for the Social Care Sector, reviewed the protection projects that had been completed during the current year, which were represented by the work and activity of the Advisory Committee for Social Protection and the projects being implemented.
