The Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik directed the speedy supply of electric power plants in the temporary capital of Aden, with an emergency amount of fuel needed to operate the stations and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The Prime Minister continued during extensive contacts with the ministers of oil and minerals, Dr. Saeed Al -Shammasi, Electricity and Energy, Manea Bin Yamin, the State, Governor of Aden Ahmed Lams, Director General of the Electricity Corporation in Aden Salem Al -Walidi, and a number of concerned officials, the progress of the procedures agreed upon urgently to address the electricity interruptions in Aden, and the ongoing plan to provide the obstetric stations with its needs of the necessary oil derivatives For operation.
Salem bin Brik stressed the need to take all the necessary treatments to reduce the hours of power outages, and work according to the available capabilities to alleviate the suffering of citizens .. directed quickly to provide Aden electricity with an emergency amount of diesel inventory for one of the merchants in Aden refineries, as well as taking the necessary measures to reach two shipments of fuel allocated to power plants (13 thousand tons of diesel and 13 thousand tons of diesel) to Aden.
The Prime Minister emphasized that he continuously follows up with the brothers in the Alliance to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, brothers, and friends, securing sufficient quantities of fuel that help the relative stability of electricity service, with a focus on sustainable strategic solutions to get out of repeated crises in the generation sector and the electricity distribution network during the coming period in Aden and the liberated governorates.
The Prime Minister renewed the emphasis on the government's full understanding of the suffering of citizens in Aden and the liberated governorates due to electricity interruptions and the decline in services, especially with the intensification of the summer heat, and to make all the necessary efforts in coordination with the Presidential Command Council to find urgent solutions to that .. stressing everyone to assume their responsibilities and duties to raise the suffering of citizens.
