The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, stressed today, Thursday, the importance of being responsible in performing the national duty, and living up to the level of the great sacrifices made in order to establish security and stability in the capital, Aden.

This came while he chaired a joint meeting of the security leadership of the capital, Aden, and the leadership of the security belt in the capital, at the headquarters of the Security Department in Khor Maksar District.

Lamlas pointed out that these sacrifices, and the heroism undertaken by members of the security and military services, are what enabled the capital, Aden, to overcome the security challenges it faced in the recent period.

Governor Lamlas stressed the need to stand on the side of law and order in dealing with individual transgressions, and to continue efforts to stabilize and consolidate the foundations of security and stability, and to preserve all the gains achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs.

In this context, the meeting addressed the latest developments in the security situation in the capital, Aden, and the procedures followed regarding various issues, stressing the importance of strengthening security coordination between all agencies and units, and their solidarity in order to protect citizens, establish security in all directorates, and preserve public tranquility.

The meeting approved a number of decisions, the most important of which are continuing communication and coordination and working to combat phenomena that are alien to security, and enhancing and raising the level of security performance among various security units in a way that ensures they perform their tasks efficiently and effectively.
