Al-Mualla police arrested a man accused of assaulting the TV director of Aden Channel, Najiba Jaafar Muhammad Qasim, 70 years old, on Madram Street in Al-Mualla District in the capital, Aden.

Al-Mualla Police Director, Brigadier General Fadl Al-Jahafi, confirmed that security forces arrested the accused (M.M.S.), 57 years old, after he was accused of assaulting his neighbor, causing damage to her face and a scalp wound on the back side.

He indicated that they transferred the victim to a hospital in the capital, Aden, to receive treatment and referred her to the CT scan department to check on her health and ensure that she was not suffering from internal bleeding.

Adding that the security services arrested the accused and began investigating him about the repercussions of the incident and the causes of the attack, and as soon as the investigation with him is completed and evidence is collected, he will be referred to the competent authorities.
