The security services in Abyan Governorate managed this evening to thwart a terrorist attempt to dismantle an explosive device planted by criminal elements in the public line in the area of ​​Jadra in Masara, affiliated to the Al -Nakhin tribe.

The dismantling process was successfully carried out by the emergency forces led by Commander Jalal to Hebrew, with the support of the security belt forces in an insurrection led by Commander Hassan Muqaafa. After the dismantling, the site's vicinity was combed, and the explosive device was transferred to the Zanzibar Security Department to complete the technical and real procedures.

The security services emphasized that this attempt comes within a series of terrorist acts carried out by the Houthi militia, using their sleeper cells in a manner similar to terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda, in confirmation of the clear inclusive between these militias and criminal gangs.

The Security Department pointed out that this operation comes less than a week after a similar incident in the same area, which killed one of the innocent citizens of Shabwa Governorate.

A specialized security team was formed to track down the elements involved in these criminal operations. The security leadership of Abyan praised the national positions of the people of the Al -Nakhin tribe, calling on them to continue to cooperate with the security services.

The security services pledged to continue to work to uproot these criminal cells and provide them to justice, stressing that they are not tolerated with everyone who tries to destabilize security or intimidate the safe.
