Aden ports workers organize a protest before the Court of Appeal to demand their compensatory lands

The workers of the Bay of the Gulf of Aden organized, on Monday morning, a protest in front of the Court of Appeal in the capital, Aden, in response to the invitation of their union, to demand their rights in compensatory lands, coinciding with the convening of the second civil division session tomorrow, Tuesday, to consider the case.
The protesters raised banners expressing their demands for justice and refusing to marginalize, most notably: “We are the workers of the Bay of the Gulf of Aden, we will not be hostage to favoritism”, and “our rights will not be lost, and we will restore them with the strength of law”, as well as explicit calls for holding accountable those involved in tampering with their lands, and emphasizing the importance of the role of the judiciary in establishing justice and the rule of law.
Participants in the stand confirmed their adherence to their lands that were allocated to them in the nineties, before they were confiscated in favor of the free zone, noting that they have all the legal documents that prove their right to them. They also called on the Presidential Council and the local authorities to assume their responsibilities towards this issue and hold accountable those who are deprived of their legitimate rights.
