A team affiliated with the Danish Council of Refugees (DRC) today, Wednesday, was exposed to a terrible traffic accident in Naqil Al -Labeem in Radfan District, while returning from a field mission within the economic empowerment project for rural women.

According to local sources, the accident resulted in the death of one of the organization's employees, while the driver was severely injured, and a number of team members were also injured between medium and minor injuries.

And the injured were immediately transferred to Radfan General Hospital, before some cases were transferred to a hospital in Aden Governorate to complete the treatment.

The accident comes while the organization’s mission had ended a field visit to one of the rural areas within its development activities, in the context of supporting livelihoods and enhancing the role of women in local communities.

This did not issue the organization until the moment of writing the news is an official statement about the accident.
