The Yemeni government calls for mobilization of funds to support the electronic payment system in the central bank

The Yemeni government stressed, on Wednesday, the importance of working now on mobilizing the necessary funds to support the electronic payment system in the Central Bank of Yemen, to contribute to improving financial inclusion, enhancing banking stability and developing the social protection system.

Minister Badeb stressed the importance of the efforts of the United Nations Development Program and all donors and their introduction, and their continuous and sustainable support for Yemen, especially in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is witnessing in the current stage, which requires everyone more coordination and cooperation to face the current challenges and achieve the common goals of sustainable development in the country.
He drew attention to the extent of these challenges directly affecting the government's ability to provide basic services to citizens and implement sustainable development programs, and the extent of the government's commitment to assume its responsibilities and continue to perform its duties and duties with determination and determination to achieve stability and move forward towards achieving development in the liberated areas.
The Minister of Planning pointed out that the government is preparing a comprehensive plan to enhance the economic recovery for the period 2025-2026, which aims to enhance economic recovery and achieve economic and living stability for citizens, and is based on the five paths of the government's plans that include the completion of the state's restoration, the end of the coup and the achievement of peace, the fight against corruption, the promotion of transparency and accountability, financial and administrative reform, development of economic resources, and economic resources, And the optimal employment of external aid and grants and guidance in accordance with government needs and priorities.
