Deputy Director General of the Tourism Office, Aden Mohamed Anwar Al -Adni, stated that these urgent alerts come due to the increasing cases of drowning during the past two days, which claimed the lives of a number of dear children of Aden, which caused deep sadness in society.

Mr./ Adeni confirms that the sea in these months (June and July) is witnessing strong marine currents and weather factors that make swimming in it very dangerous and unsafe at all, and even skilled swimmers cannot confront them.

Given these grave dangers, the Tourism Office appeals to Aden all citizens, residents and visitors:

1. Avoid swimming in the beaches of Aden completely during the current period.
