After opening the road to Al -Dhalea, it is agreed to open the Karsh road link between Taiz and Lahj

Informed sources revealed an initial arrival between government forces and the Houthi gang to open the main road in the "Karsh" area of Lahj Governorate, which links the provinces of Taiz and Lahj, after years of closure as a result of the war.
This development comes days after opening the road to Al -Dhalea linking the temporary capital of Aden and the kidnapped capital, Sanaa, in a move that is a glimmer of hope to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The sources confirmed that a local mediation committee received official approvals from both sides, and on Saturday a field visit to inspect the area in preparation for the start of practical procedures to reopen the road during the coming period.
The Mediation Committee appealed to the National Companies and Businessmen to contribute to the construction of an alternative road around the destroyed "Aqan" bridge since April 2015, in addition to financing the bridge rehabilitation project, to facilitate the movement of passengers and the residents of the neighboring areas.
The “Karsh” road is one of the most important vital ways that have been disrupted since the outbreak of the war, as part of the policy of the Houthi gang that closed dozens of major roads since its coup against the state in 2014, which exacerbated the suffering of the citizens, and forced them to behave alternative and long roads that drained their time and resources, and exposed them to repeated security and humanitarian risks.
