President Ahmed Al -Shara is surprised by everyone: We have Israel “joint enemies”

In unprecedented statements, Syrian President Ahmed Al -Sharai stressed the need to end the era of mutual bombing between Syria and Israel, considering that "prosperity will not be achieved for any of the two countries in light of fear," noting that the two parties have joint enemies, and they can play a major role in enhancing regional security.
Al -Sharaa’s statements came during an interview with the “Jewish Journal”, as he expressed his desire to return to the disengagement agreement signed in 1974, considering that it should not be used only for a ceasefire, but should be a basic guarantee of the control of the mutual soul and the protection of civilians, especially the Druze societies in the Golan Heights.
The Syrian President stressed that "Salama Druze Syria is not negotiable, and they must be protected under the law," in a direct response to Israeli calls to protect the Druze community.
Although he refused to talk about immediate normalization with Israel, Sharia expressed an openness to future talks based on the principles of international law and respect for the sovereignty of Syria. He stressed that "peace must be acquired with mutual respect, not fear."
He also expressed his desire for a direct dialogue with US President Donald Trump, considering that "Syria needs a honest mediator to achieve stability in the region", and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the United States in multiple files, including the disclosure of collective graves, the provision of forensic techniques, fighting corruption, and building state institutions.
In a remarkable development, the Sharia revealed a meeting with President Trump on May 14 on the sidelines of Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, where he urged him to join the "Abraham" agreements.
After the meeting and Trump's decision to lift the sanctions on Syria, the latter indicated that Syria will eventually join Abraham's agreements, explaining that the Sharia President expressed initial approval, but he linked this to achieving internal stability in the country.
