Professor Mukhtar Al -Yafii, Vice -President of the National Media Authority, met today at the headquarters of the authority in the capital, Aden, with the initiative to restore and rehabilitate the international road for the line of Abyan consisting of media youth Ibrahim Al -Kazmi, and Nibras Al -Sharmi, head of the platform (Bab) and Maher Al -Barqash.

Al -Yafii praised the societal role played by a group of young media professionals in a phenomenon worthy of admiration and appreciation, noting that the media’s involvement in societal missions confirms that the strength of the media does not lie in publishing and writing only, but also with the direct contribution to practical initiatives in favor of society.

Al -Yafii pointed out that the Southern Transitional Council welcomes such youth initiatives of public benefit, stressing the delivery of the voice of the members of this initiative to the competent authorities to accomplish the remainder of this vital project and highlighting all the southern media of this qualitative initiative.

On their part, members of the initiative expressed their thanks and appreciation to the National Authority for Southern Media for its interest in this initiative, and its encouragement to accomplish the remaining stages of the international line.
