Coast Guard Authority warns of swimming in the coast of Aden due to sea disorder and high waves

The Coast Guard Authority - the Gulf of Aden sector issued an important warning to citizens of the necessity of refraining from swimming in the coast of Aden during these days, as a result of air disturbances and the intensification of the northern winds, which leads to high waves and the constituent water currents that may withdraw swimmers to the depths.
The Authority called in a warning statement, published through the Maritime Security Department, to take care and caution and refrain from swimming during this period, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of their children, especially during family trips on the beaches.
The statement emphasized the following points:
• The need to permanently monitor children on the beach.
• Not allowing them to swim or establish cruises on their own.
• Avoid swimming in times of wind activity and harsh weather factors, even for those who have high swimming skills.
The statement also mentioned numbers for emergency and communicating with the Coast Guard in the event of any sea emergency.
The interest called on everyone to adhere to the instructions in order to preserve lives, stressing that the sea during the wind season is a significant danger, especially in areas such as “Al -Tafi” and “Oil Port”.
