Coast Guard saves 7 people from drowning and continues to search for a missing young man in Hadramout

Coast Guard rescue teams continue to search for a young man who was lost in the waters of the coast of "Fakher", east of the city of Shahir, Hadramout Governorate, after saving seven other people, including a child, who were about to drown as a result of the disturbance of the marine currents.
Security sources reported that a communication from local citizens reported that a group of people were drowned, which required an urgent intervention from the coast guard teams, which arrived at the site in difficult naval conditions, and was able to save the seven lives and transfer them to Shahir Hospital, where they received first aid, and the medical teams confirmed that their health condition is stable.
The sources confirmed that the combing work is still ongoing to find the eighth person, who is 23 years old, who is a resident of the Al -Ghail district, and it is believed that the waves were swallowed during the moments of confusion that accompanied the sudden withdrawal of the marine current.
The Coast Guard forces again called on citizens and beaches to be cautious and follow maritime safety instructions, especially in light of the sudden changes in the movement of water and coastal currents.
