The Governor of Aden discusses expanding and developing the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Department

The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, discussed today, Sunday, with the Undersecretary of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Service, Brigadier General Abdul Jabbar Salem, the expansion and development of work in the Authority, and the rehabilitation of the automated issuance building.
Lamlas stressed the local authority’s keenness to rehabilitate, rebuild and maintain government buildings in the capital, Aden, and activate them to perform their role to the fullest.
Governor Lamlas indicated that expanding and developing the work of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Department contributes to alleviating congestion and combating extraneous phenomena, pointing out that developing the service is sufficient to eliminate many of the violations that accompany the process of issuing passports.
The Passports Agent reviewed the difficulties they face, the proposed plans for development, and the necessity of activating the presidential decision to rehabilitate and restore the automatic issuance.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Fouad Hamdeen, Director General of the Authority, and Lieutenant Colonel Ziad Muhammad Abdel Qader, Director General of Travel Documents.
