Jamil Ghanem Institute and Canaan Theater organize a training workshop in preparing the actor

The Jameel Ghanem Institute of Fine Arts, in partnership with the Canaan Theater, organized a training workshop on “Preparing the Actor” on Sunday in the capital, Aden.
The workshop, which will last for two weeks, aims to prepare the actor and develop his skills in terms of performance, the art of elocution, body language, and studied movements on stage and cinematic acting.
In his speech at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Bassem Mansour Al-Hushbi, Head of the Information and Culture Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, affirmed the Council’s interest in advancing the wheel of culture in the capital, Aden, and all the governorates of the South.
Al-Hushbi pointed out that the workshop includes valuable content aimed at developing the actor’s skills and introducing him to acting schools and influential methods.
Mr. Fouad Moqbel, General Manager of the Jameel Ghanem Fine Arts Theater, expressed his happiness in partnering with the Canaan Theater in organizing this workshop, offering thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributes to this work.
The first day of the workshop included introductions to theatrical art and the art of acting, where participants received a broad explanation of how to deal with the stage and how to deal with drama and cinema in general.
