The Yemeni government accuses the Houthis of hijacking the Central Park oil ship and issues an urgent call to the international community

On Sunday, the Yemeni government renewed its denunciation of the acts of maritime piracy carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia with the support of the Iranian regime, the most recent of which was the hijacking of the “Central Park” oil ship in Yemeni territorial waters.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that this incident comes as an extension of the Houthi acts of sabotage and threats to international navigation since these militias took control of the capabilities of the Yemeni state.
The Yemeni government has repeatedly warned of the danger of this terrorist militia and its agenda linked to Iranian sabotage interests and projects in the region, stressing that these actions have no connection to the Palestinian issue, and do not serve the struggles of the Palestinian people.
The statement added that the group that indulged in killing and torturing the Yemeni people cannot be a supporter of just causes.
The Yemeni government called on the international community and the United Nations to take immediate action to stop these terrorist acts, and to hold the Iranian regime fully responsible for them.
