The South Aden Appeals Prosecution and the Director of Al-Mualla District discuss enhancing joint cooperation to combat crime

The Southern Aden Appeals Prosecution and the Director of Al-Mualla District held, today, Monday, a consultative meeting to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation to combat crime.
The meeting discussed the impact of random communities and gatherings on the expansion of crime and tracking down its perpetrators, and urged finding solutions to the problem of random, lawless gatherings because of their impact on high crime rates and the difficulty of tracking down their perpetrators.
Judge Wadah Badhib, Chief Prosecutor of Appeals in South Aden, stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between the Public Prosecution, the local authority, and the security services, improving the level of work, and putting an end to random, lawless gatherings.
Judge Badib also touched on the noticeable improvement in Al-Mualla District, and praised the efforts made to serve and improve the city’s situation.
For his part, the Director General of Al-Mualla Directorate, Abdul Rahim Abdul Karim Al-Jawi, confirmed that the directorate has been working with all its capacity recently, and that there is progress and improvement in the current situation.
The meeting resulted in the development of some urgent solutions, most notably preventing random gatherings on main roads and tours, frequent and joint visits with security authorities to markets and stores, controlling chaos in markets and public places, and obliging all stores to install surveillance cameras.
The meeting was attended by a member of the South Aden Appeals Prosecution, Judge Majid Sultan Al-Hakimi, and the deputy prosecutor of Al-Mualla, Judge Muhammad Ali Al-Nimr.
