The liberated southern commander, Major General Mahmoud Salem Al-Subaihi, the former Minister of Defense, arrived this Tuesday evening in Al-Dhalea Governorate, where he was received at the entrance to the governorate by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the local authority.

The leadership and masses of Al-Dhalea expressed their welcome for Minister Al-Subaihi’s visit to the governorate to participate in the mass celebration that will be held by the local leadership of the Transitional Council tomorrow morning, Wednesday, to celebrate the fifty-sixth anniversary of the first Southern National Independence Day, the thirtieth of glorious November.

Minister Al-Subaihi is considered one of the most prominent leaders of the southern liberation war, as he participated in many battles that resulted in the liberation of Al-Dhalea Governorate from the northern Yemeni occupation.

Minister Al-Subaihi is expected to participate in the public celebration activities that will be held in Martyrs’ Square in Al-Dhalea, which will include many national and popular events.
