His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, on the sidelines of his visit to Hadramaut Governorate, visited a number of civil society organizations in the city of Mukalla and was briefed on their activities, programs and development interventions.

He visited the Nahad Development Foundation, the Asasa Development Foundation, the Aman Development Foundation, as well as the Al-Omran Institute for Studies and Capacity Building. There he met with the leaders of those institutions and their work crews.

During his visit to the Nahad Development Foundation, he was received by the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Mr. Adel Talib bin Muhanna, and the Executive Director, Mr. Ibrahim Jamaan bin Thabet, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the type of programs and projects implemented by the Foundation in its educational, health, humanitarian and development sectors.

Minister Al-Zaouri expressed his admiration for the efforts made by the Foundation and its administrative teams and their purposeful interventions that meet the needs of society, praising the Foundation’s contributions as an essential tributary of development in the country, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation to achieve more social development in the country, Providing all facilities for the organization’s work to fulfill its mission and achieve its strategic and development goals to serve the community.

His Excellency Minister Al-Zaouri was accompanied on his visit to the institutions by Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary for the Social Welfare Sector, Mr. Muhammad Ali Al-Samati, Director-General of Associations, Mr. Munif Al-Mehrabi, Director-General of Legal Affairs, Mr. Adnan Saeed, Director-General of Relations and Media, and Ms. Sawsan Mezher, Director-General of Data Management. Labor Market, and Mr. Ahmed Salem Bazroos, Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadhramaut Coast.
