Armed groups affiliated with the “Land Transport Organization” attempt to attack the grounds of the “Aden Transport Office” and clash with them with bullets.

Armed groups affiliated with the Land Transport Regulatory Authority attempted, this morning, Wednesday, to attack a yard belonging to the Land Transport Office in the capital, Aden, in Al-Sulban.
According to close sources, armed groups led by the Deputy Chairman of the Authority, Sanad Dhiban, the nephew of the former Minister of Transport, Saleh Al-Jabwani, and Fares Shafal, Chairman of the Authority, attempted to raid the yard and clashed with live bullets with the yard guards.
The sources added that the Al-Housh guard responded to the attack, and the tires of a car belonging to an official in the Authority were disabled, and the armed groups affiliated with the Authority fled to an unknown destination.
The sources explained that the land transport investment manager, Saber Sabira, was assigned to build it to be a parking lot for public transport buses, to be in accordance with the law and regulations, under the management of the Aden Transport Office and the Land Transport Corporation.
The sources indicated that the Land Transport Regulatory Authority is trying to control the yard without any legal right, even though it is one of the assets and properties of the Aden Transport Office.
The sources called on the security authorities to investigate the incident and take the necessary legal measures against those responsible for the attack.
