Saudi Arabia carries out a death sentence against a foreigner convicted of killing a Yemeni

The Saudi Ministry of Interior issued a statement on Wednesday regarding the implementation of a retaliatory death sentence (death sentence) against one of the perpetrators in the Eastern Province.
The Saudi Interior Ministry said in a statement: “Kalamuddin Muhammad Rafiq - an Indian national - killed Muhammad Mohsen Ali Al-Jamali - a Yemeni national - by stabbing him with a knife, which led to his death due to a dispute between them.”
The statement added: “ By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing his crime, and referring him to the competent court, where an instrument was issued against him proving his guilt for what was attributed to him, and ruling that he should be killed as retaliation. The ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. A royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia, and it was supported by its authority.”
The Ministry of Interior continued in its statement: “The death sentence was carried out as retaliation against the perpetrator, Kalam Al-Din Muhammad Rafiq - an Indian national, on Wednesday, Jumada Al-Awwal 15, 1445 AH, corresponding to November 29, 2023 in the Eastern Region.”
The statement added: “The Ministry of Interior announces this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings on everyone who assaults those who are safe or sheds their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do such a thing, that the punishment will be His fate will be the lawful one, and God guides to the straight path.”
