Hadhramaut.. Inauguration of the project to build three water tanks for 3 villages in Tarim District

Today, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority inaugurated the inauguration of a project to build three water tanks with a capacity of 700 cubic meters each in three villages (Al-Ghuraf - Al-Qaryah - and Qism) in the Tarim District in Hadhramaut Governorate, which will benefit about 42 thousand people, which contributes to meeting the growing needs.
The inauguration coincides with the celebrations of the 56th anniversary of the glorious national independence, November 30, and on the occasion of the National Day, December 2, of the United Arab Emirates.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Assistant Undersecretary for Valley and Desert Affairs in Hadhramaut Governorate, Mr. Abdul Hadi Al-Tamimi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates for the projects it is undertaking to support infrastructure, service and relief in Hadhramaut and Yemen in general...noting With the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in implementing vital projects with a service dimension, to alleviate the suffering of citizens in the governorate... He pointed to the vital importance of this project, which serves several areas and villages in the Tarim District.
The agent, Al-Tamimi, confirmed that the people are in dire need of such projects, due to the lack of tanks that cover the need of the beneficiaries of this water, and this grant will reduce the huge burden in the future and will contribute to delivering water to all the people and beneficiaries.
For his part, the Authority’s projects supervisor, Engineer Hamid Qawaya, confirmed that this project comes as part of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority’s strategy to develop infrastructure and improve the water situation and enhance it in the areas of Al-Ghurfa, the village, Qism and its suburbs in the Tarim District in Hadhramaut Governorate, with the aim of enhancing water safety and improving the quality of life of residents.< /p>
Qawaya said that this project will achieve many environmental, economic and social benefits, as these modern tanks contribute to storing water more efficiently, which will reduce water loss and improve the sustainability of the source. The tanks will also work to provide sustainable water supplies to the people of the targeted villages that It suffers from a scarcity of potable water, which contributes to improving public health and safety.
Noting that the project comes as an embodiment of the interest given by the UAE and its wise leadership to improving humanitarian conditions in general and in enhancement of the initiatives undertaken by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority to alleviate the suffering of the population and support infrastructure projects to confront the difficult conditions in which they live.
The opening of this vital project was widely welcomed by the people, who lived through a period of time suffering from water scarcity, until the Authority launched this important project implemented in three villages in the Tarim District, and they extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE and its wise leadership, and the Crescent Authority. The Emirati Red for their stances that the people of Hadramaut cannot forget.
The inauguration was attended by the Department Water Project Manager, Mr. Salem Saeed Bahnan, the Charitable Rooms Water Project Director, Mr. Omar Salem Saeed Sweilem, the village water project manager, Mr. Abdullah Salem bin Salam, the Authority’s project supervisor, Alawi Al-Aidaroos, and the engineers of the company executing the project, the Bin Doul Group. Commercial, and a number of social figures and notables, amid great joy from the people who gathered at the opening site to celebrate this occasion.
