The executive body of the local leadership in the Shibam Transitional Council honored a group of prominent community figures on the evening of Friday, December 1, on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of Independence Day, on the 30th of glorious November. This is in implementation of the permanent and supportive directives of Mr. Muhammad Abdul-Malik Al-Zubaidi, Head of the Assistant Authority of the Southern Transitional Council for Directorate Affairs. The Valley and the Desert, a ceremony organized by the Social Administration of the Executive Board and in coordination with the Wadi Bin Ali Centers (F-S) in honor and gratitude of the social figures.

The ceremony began with a speech by the head of the Transitional Executive Authority in Shibam District, Mr. Ali Qasim bin Talib, in which he praised the great efforts of all prominent community figures who interact with the issues of society and the southern homeland, and their role and struggle in restoring and building the state, praising the role of the social administration in the authority and the two centers in organizing this. The well-deserved celebration of the region’s figures, their wonderful work and their noble feelings towards this group of figures who sacrificed their lives for the southern cause.

The ceremony included a number of speeches from the attendees, after which the ceremony was filled with an atmosphere of happiness and pleasure among the attendees for the honoring segment deserved for each of the personalities: Sheikh Saleh Marei Dhiban Al-Jabri, Ali Abdullah Saeed Al-Jabri, Yahya Hamid Saleh Al-Jabri, Professor Yeslam Saleh Salem Dahlous, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Hakim Amer Melhem Al-Jabri. And Saeed Ahmed Saleh Dakaik, and the ceremony was attended by a number of directors of the Authority’s departments and social figures from the Wadi Bin Ali region.
