The Traffic Police Department in Al-Dhalea Governorate launched a campaign to number motorcycles, as part of its plan to number various types of vehicles, in the presence of the Chairman of the Executive Authority for the Transitional Authority of Al-Dhalea Governorate, Brigadier General Abdullah Mahdi Saeed, the Director of the Governorate Security, Brigadier General Ahmed Qaed, the Director of the Traffic Department in the Governorate, Saleh Obaid, and the Director of the Rescue Branch. The campaign aims to control the security situation and restrict all motorcycles that are not registered in the traffic and security records, which would arrest violators, in addition to strengthening the foundations of security and stability in the governorate’s capital and preserving public tranquility.
In his speech, Brigadier General Abdullah Mahdi Saeed praised the great efforts made by the Traffic Police Department in numbering motorcycles, cars and various unnumbered vehicles to reduce traffic violations, urging the Traffic Police to make more efforts to make this campaign a success.
The Traffic Police Department in Al Dhalea Governorate called on drivers of motorcycles, cars and all types of vehicles to speed up their punctuation during the specified period, stressing at the same time that strict measures will be taken against those who default.
