The Governor of Socotra, Head of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali, and the Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ustad Fadl Al-Jaadi, inaugurated the new building of the Local Leadership of the Council in the governorate.

At the inauguration, Governor Al-Thaqali expressed his pleasure at the opening of the new and main building for the local leadership in the governorate, which is considered one of its assets.

Al-Thaqali stressed that the opening of the local leadership building after the process of equipping it office-wise contributes to activating the activity of all departments, developing the organizational and administrative work therein, and enhancing the effectiveness of the programs and plans implemented by the Council.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ustad Fadl Al-Jaadi, congratulated the local leadership in Socotra Governorate for the opening of the new building and the official launch of work from it, wishing success to the local leadership in developing the tasks assigned to it.

The building, located on the main street at the entrance to the city of Hadiboh, consists of two floors. It includes commercial shops on the ground floor and administrative offices on the first floor, in addition to a yard that will be used in the future to add other facilities to the building.

The opening was attended by Governorate Undersecretary Raed Al-Jaribi, members of the National Assembly, and directors of local leadership departments.
