With the support of the King Salman Relief Center, the initial receipt for the supply, operation and training of the water treatment plant and dialysis center in Al Dhalea Governorate in Al Dhalea Governorate, phase four, was signed today, Sunday.
The Governor of Al-Dhalea Governorate, Ali Muqbil Saleh, said that this project will serve a segment that is in dire need of health services, pointing out that the local authority is fully prepared to provide facilities for such development projects and called for the implementation of more such projects that will cover part of the weakness of basic services.
The Governor of Al-Dhalea thanked the Silah Foundation for Development and the King Salman Center, which had previously provided many development and relief projects in the governorate.
For his part, Director of Health Programs at the Silah Foundation for Development, Muhammad Omar Bahitham, said that the dialysis center in Al-Dhalea receives special attention and care from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, and it has received four contracts to care for and support the center.
Bahitham added that the King Salman Center aims to ensure continuity of service for dialysis patients through strategic projects distributed among the following sectors: providing a desalination station, equipment, and beds, and ensuring the stability of the hemodialysis process.
Deputy Director of the King Salman Center, Naif Al-Shammari, said that this project is among the priorities of the King Salman Center, and this station will work to increase the capacity of the dialysis center so that the bed capacity reaches 40 machines instead of the previous capacity, which did not exceed twenty beds.
According to those in charge of the project, the delivery of the strategic project will contribute to the stability of the work of the dialysis center.
