The Houthi militia carried out a massive levies campaign to blackmail merchants and tourist facilities in the coastal governorate of Hodeidah.
Local sources reported that the campaign launched by the Houthi militia affected hotels, restaurants, lodgings, photography shops, studios, libraries, kiosks and shops.
Sources explained that the campaign was carried out by several militia entities, under the pretext of improving the quality of tourism services and enhancing oversight of facilities.
