Destruction of an unusable rice shipment in the capital, Aden

Today, the General Authority for Standardization and Metrology destroyed a shipment of unusable rice at the Bir al-Naama landfill, which Hizam al-Tawq forces had seized at the Al-Alam Point, east of the capital, Aden.
The rice shipment, which contained (920) bags of Pakistani white rice, from a (40 kilo) package, was destroyed due to the presence of lumps and mold on the product and the packages, in the presence of representatives of the Security Belt Forces, the Standards and Metrology Authority, and Health and Environment in the Public Works Office. And a representative from the hygiene fund at the rubbish dump in Buraiqa.
The process of destroying the rice shipment comes after an inspection and audit process, which confirmed that it was subjected to poor storage and that it is unfit for human use.
The General Authority for Standardization and Metrology expressed its thanks to the forces of the Aden Collar Belt at the flag point for their sense of security and their control of this damaged shipment, considering this as an important national work in preserving the safety of citizens from the danger of spoiled materials.
