The Aden authorities intend to launch a tender to choose a security protection company for public places and areas

The local authorities in the capital, Aden, approved today, Tuesday, the start of issuing a tender to select a security protection company for public spaces and places affiliated with the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital.
This came during the chairmanship of the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, today, the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Aden, Badr Assistant, and the Executive Director of the Fund, Qaid Rashid, a number of important topics were discussed, the most important of which are:
- Initiating a tender to select a security protection company for public spaces and public places affiliated with the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital.
- Deciding on a number of tenders, the most important of which is the supply of afforestation management equipment and machinery with spare parts, in addition to the supply of an electric generator.
- Discussing the final accounts for the fiscal year 2022, which includes a reading of the fund’s financial performance during that period, in addition to discussing the financial report for the period from “January-September” of the current year 2023.
- Discussing the minutes of the committee charged with addressing the problem of the wedding hall in Sheikh Othman, and the mechanism for organizing work in the Sira and Cairo markets.
- Discussing ways to develop the Fund’s revenues, in order to help it carry out its responsibilities and carry out its many and multiple tasks, in light of the significant increase in the prices of fuel, equipment, and work materials and supplies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Governor of Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, praised the role of the Revenue Development Center in raising the revenue rate during the current year and facilitating the collection mechanism. During the meeting, attendees also touched on a number of other issues and obstacles that the Fund faces in the capital, Aden. And take the necessary treatments in this regard.
