The transitional president of Hadhramaut participates in the walking marathon for girls with disabilities

The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadhramaut Governorate, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, participated in the walking marathon for girls with disabilities, which was organized in the city of Mukalla yesterday, Tuesday, by the Supreme Coordination Council of Civil Society Organizations in the governorate.
The marathon was held under the slogan “We are capable” on the occasion of the International and Arab Day for Persons with Disabilities, and as part of the activities of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women.
The marathon, in which associations of the blind, deaf, mute, and physically disabled participated, included a walking and wheelchair segment, and artistic segments, performed by flowers with special needs.
The Chairman of the Supreme Coordination Council of Civil Society Organizations in the Governorate, Raed Bajaber, the Governor’s Undersecretary, Hassan Al-Jilani, the General Director of the Mukalla District, Brigadier General Abdullah Bayashut, and a number of officials participated in the event.
