Shipping Customs concludes the training course in the field of combating smuggling

Shipping Customs concluded, today, Wednesday, the training course in the field of combating smuggling in accordance with the CTCE Strategic Trade Control Programme, which was held during the period from 2 to 6 December 2023, for customs employees in Shihn, Sarfit, and Nishtun Port.
30 customs employees participated in the course, during which they received extensive training on scientific and practical skills in the field of combating smuggling, strategic trade control, and the documentary course.
In his speech at the conclusion of the course, the Director General of Land Shipping Port Customs, Mr. Thabet Awad Mubarak, stressed the importance of the course in providing participants with the necessary skills to combat smuggling, strengthening control over strategic trade, and applying the documentary course.
The Director General of Shipping Port Customs extended his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Saleh Bin Brik, the Governor of Al-Mahra, Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, and the Head of the Customs Authority, Mr. Abdul Hakim Radman Al-Qobati, for their care and great interest in the aspects of qualification and training for customs human cadres.
In conclusion, certificates were distributed to the trainees, and the trained professors were honored with shields of appreciation for their efforts.
The conclusion of the course was attended by Dr. Ali bin Ali Jathham, Deputy Director General of Shipping Customs, Mr. Hussein bin Harouf, Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, and Mr. Riyad Jaza’, Deputy Director of the Competition Department at Shipping Customs.
