The Yemeni Council of Ministers appoints Al-Shaabi as General Director of the General Electricity Corporation

Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik Mujib appointed Ahmed Hazem Al-Shaabi as Director General of the General Electricity Corporation, succeeding the previous Director, Eng. Abdulaziz Muhammad.
Al-Shaabi previously served for a long time as Director General of Electricity in Hodeidah and then Aden after the 2015 war, and he was able to recover the institution and preserve it in the most difficult circumstances.

Concerning the appointment of Director General of the General Electricity Corporation
After reviewing the Constitution of the Republic of Yemen.
Law No. (19) of 1991 regarding civil service and its executive regulations.
And Law No. (3) of 2004 regarding the Council of Ministers.
And Law No. (1) of 2009 regarding electricity.
Republican Decree Law No. (35) of 1991 regarding public bodies, institutions and companies and its amendments.
Republican Decree No. (87) of 1995 establishing the General Electricity Corporation, and its amendments.
Republican Resolution No. (7) of 2020 regarding the formation of a government of political competencies and the nomination of its members, and its amendments.
Based on the proposal of the Minister of Electricity and Energy.
The decision//
Article (1): Brother Mujeeb Ahmed Hazem Al-Shaabi is appointed Director General of the General Electricity Corporation.
Article (2): This decision shall be effective from the date of its issuance, and those concerned must implement it, each within their jurisdiction.
