The Director General of the Mansoura District in the capital, Aden, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, today, Wednesday, inaugurated work on the project “Rehabilitation of Rainwater Drainage Channels on the Sea Road,” which is implemented by the “Public Works Project,” funded by the “Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.” At a cost of "220" thousand dollars.

During the inauguration, which was attended by a member of the administrative body of the local council in the district - head of the services committee - Arif Yassin, Al-Daoudi heard from the director of the sub-region of the public works project in Aden and Abyan, Engineer Mohsen Alawi Al-Saqqaf, to a comprehensive explanation of the components of the project, which he is implementing. Al-Hubaishi General Contracting Office, which includes installing polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 20 inches, with a length of 500 meters, from the Caltex roundabout to the runway at Aden International Airport, in addition to constructing 40 concrete inspection rooms.

Al-Daoudi stressed the importance of implementing this project, as it will contribute to displacing rainwater and preventing it from accumulating on the sea road, which is one of the most important and vital main roads in the capital, Aden.

Al-Daoudi stressed that the project contractor must expedite the implementation of all project work while adhering to the engineering specifications and technical standards and adhering to the time period specified for completing the project.

Al-Daoudi praised the efforts of the Public Works Project in meeting the needs of the Mansoura District for service projects, especially in implementing this important service project, praising - at the same time - the positive role of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development in financing the completion of this project.

The inauguration was attended by the Director of the Public Works and Roads Office in the Directorate, Engineer Raafat Kokni.
