Sewage water floods the neighborhoods of Sheikh Al-Dawil in Aden and causes an outbreak of epidemics

The neighborhoods of Sheikh Al-Dawil in the capital, Aden, suffer from the problem of overflowing sewage water, which floods streets and homes, causing the spread of epidemics and diseases.
Citizens from the affected neighborhoods said that they submitted reports to the directorate and sanitation officials, but they did not move to remove the sewage, and they did not pay any attention to the citizens’ reports.
They accused the director of the directorate of neglect and not listening to their complaints and taking care of what they needed.
Citizens explained that sewage blocked their passage in the streets, causing the spread of unpleasant odors, and the spread of insects and rodents, which led to many children and citizens becoming infected with diseases, including diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, and yellow fever.
The problem also disrupted traffic on some streets and caused serious damage to private property.
Citizens called on the concerned authorities to quickly move to solve this problem, provide the necessary solutions to prevent the spread of epidemics and diseases, and ensure the safety of citizens.
