Today, the strategic and operational planning course held by the Planning Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technical Education for the ministry’s leaders was concluded.

During the course days, the trainees learned about the types of planning, the formulation of smart goals, and the elements of the operational plan. They also learned about the mechanism for evaluating and following up the operational plan.

The trainees presented operational plans for the sectors and public departments of the Ministry, and in turn, the trainer, Dr. Aziz Al-Maafi and Director General of Planning, Dr. Jamil Abdullah, evaluated and developed it.

At the conclusion of the course, Dr. Mazen Al-Jafari, Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Missions Sector, expressed the importance of holding such training courses that enhance the capacity and efficiency of the Ministry’s work and are reflected in the development of its performance.

Dr. also praised Khaled Omar Baslim, Undersecretary for the Educational Affairs Sector, called on the trainees to work with everything stated in it so that the Ministry can present a plan for the new year that is more effective and full of excellence.

The trainees extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Wasabi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, for his sponsorship of the course.
