The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, discussed with Mr. Gianluca Bono, Director of the UNICEF Service Center, preparations for the start of the next disbursement cycle for emergency cash transfers to social welfare beneficiaries, which will begin at the end of this December.

The Minister expressed his thanks to UNICEF for its efforts in supporting social welfare programs in Yemen, stressing the importance of continuing cooperation between the two parties to enhance these programs and make them reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries.

The seventeenth disbursement cycle for emergency cash transfers comes within the framework of the emergency cash transfer project, which benefits 9 million beneficiaries.
