The judge pointed out that “the Yemeni authorities are in contact with our brothers in the State of Qatar, in their capacity as truce mediators in Gaza, with the aim of evacuating Yemeni nationals from the territory of the Gaza Strip to Egypt via the Rafah crossing, and then either settling in Egypt or returning them to Yemen.”
p>It was stated that the Yemeni embassy in Cairo, based on directives from the Yemeni authorities, is communicating with the official authorities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan regarding the status of Yemeni nationals on the Jordanian border, and coordinating their entry into Jordanian territory or their return to the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
