Sewage floods the most important commercial and industrial street in Sheikh Othman

The overflow of sewage on Mohandiseen Street, the most important commercial and industrial street in Sheikh Othman in the capital, Aden, caused the spread of diseases and epidemics in the region, restricting the movements of citizens there.
According to local sources, sewage overflowed about 10 days ago, causing unpleasant odors and causing health risks to citizens.
Residents indicated that the local authority in the district, and the Public Sanitation Corporation, did not respond to their complaints and requests, which led to the exacerbation of the problem.
In addition, citizens said that sewage water reached some homes in Sheikh Al-Dawil and Al-Mudara, which led to the spread of mosquitoes and insects, and caused the spread of diseases and epidemics, such as malaria, cholera, and dysentery.
Residents called on the concerned authorities to intervene urgently to address this problem, and remove sewage from streets and residential neighborhoods, in order to preserve the health of citizens and prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics.
