For the second week in a row, sewage water is besieging a number of neighborhoods in the Sheikh Othman District, northeast of the capital, Aden.
Citizens in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Al-Dawil, Al-Mamdara and Abdul-Qawi reported that sewage water reached their homes after flooding a number of streets.
Citizens said that they sent several reports to the Sanitation Department and the local authority in Sheikh Othman over the past two weeks, but they did not respond or pay any attention to their reports.
They pointed out that the spread of sewage water caused the spread of diseases and epidemics, and posed a threat to the health of citizens.
Citizens asked the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, for the necessity of directing the local authority to do what is necessary to remove sewage and end their suffering.
