The Correction Movement calls on the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Attorney General to investigate shipments of damaged medicines

Today, Sunday, the National Movement for Correction and Construction sent an urgent report to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission, the Attorney General, and the First Attorney General of the Republic, regarding shipments of spoiled and damaged medicines that entered the capital, Aden, during the last period, as revealed by a press investigation supported by documents, prepared by Journalist Abdul Rahman Anis, for Al Majal Net news website, published yesterday, Saturday.
In its report, the Correction Movement called on the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Attorney General, and the First Attorney General of the Republic to conduct an urgent and rapid investigation into this serious crime that affects the life of citizens, and to bring those involved in it to a fair trial to receive their deterrent punishment.
The Correction Movement said that it has the complete file related to the case, and copies of it will be delivered to the aforementioned regulatory authorities, and it will follow up on the case with them through a team of specialists.
Calling on civil society organizations, lawyers, the press and free media to interact with the issue and turn it into an issue of public opinion, and to work to exert pressure towards ensuring a transparent and real investigation and holding those involved accountable, so that such serious crimes are not repeated, calling on the regulatory and judicial authorities to Its national and professional role, in accordance with the law, in confronting the processes of systematic corruption, which targets people’s lives, destroying what remains of the country, and contributing to re-correcting the disastrous and wrong path that many official and governmental bodies are taking.
