Governor Al-Thaqali discusses with the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education a number of issues related to education in Socotra

The Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, Engineer Raafat Ali Ibrahim Al-Thaqli, discussed today with the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education a number of issues related to higher education and foreign scholarships, and a number of projects that the Ministry is looking forward to implementing in the governorate.
During his meeting with the visiting ministerial delegation to the governorate, Governor Al-Thaqali reviewed the efforts made by the local authority to stabilize the educational process in general in the archipelago, as well as to improve educational outcomes... indicating that the governorate was born from the announcement and is in need of urgent necessary needs, especially infrastructure, which takes care of To meet the governorate’s need for wages for buildings, and to contribute to raising the level of education.
Al-Thaqali pointed out the importance of this meeting, which contributes to strengthening joint bilateral coordination between the local authority and the ministry in the governorate, in a way that serves the educational process in the governorate, and the development of cadres and teaching staff through the implementation of rehabilitation and training programs and scientific activities that raise the wheel of development in various specializations.< /p>
The Governor of Socotra listened to a detailed explanation from the ministerial delegation regarding a number of important files and issues for higher, academic, technical and vocational education, as well as foreign scholarships for students from Socotra.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor, Raed Al-Jaribi, the Dean of the University of the Socotra Archipelago, Dr. Nadim Al-Azibi, the Dean of the Community College, Dr. Ahmed Turbahi, and the Director General of the Socotra Technical Education and Vocational Training Office, Mr. Abdullah Al-Maawali.
