The head of the Gulf of Aden Fisheries Authority inspects the central technical workshop in the fishing port in the capital, Aden

Dr. Abdul Salam Ahmed, head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Gulf of Aden, inspected the central technical workshop affiliated with the fishing port in the capital, Aden, accompanied by engineer Ahmed Abu Bakr, the former production manager at the workshop, in addition to a number of engineers and technicians working in the workshop before it stopped in 2004.
During the inspection tour, Dr. Abdul Salam, head of the Gulf of Aden Fisheries Authority, and the engineers accompanying him toured the various sections of the workshop and heard from those in charge of it a detailed explanation of the components of the workshop and the importance they play in the maintenance of local and foreign ships and the extent of the damage to the machinery and equipment present therein, as well as the obstacles that Standing in the way of its rehabilitation and operation, in addition to the needs required to re-maintain it and return it to work, Dr. Abdul Salam directed that a comprehensive report be submitted on the damage to the workshop and the required treatments in preparation for its restart.
Dr. Abdul Salam also pointed out the importance of seeking help from previous cadres who served in the workshop during previous years while carrying out the rehabilitation and maintenance work of the workshop, as these cadres carry a large amount of knowledge accumulation, stressing the importance of their role in supervising any future work after its opening and the necessity of them training The engineers and technicians working in the workshop ensure the transfer of their experience and knowledge to the current staff, which in turn will contribute to restoring life to this facility, which accommodates dozens of workers.
