A Saudi team discusses with Tariq Saleh support for the naval forces in Mokha to confront Houthi threats

A member of the Presidential Command Council, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, received today, Monday, in the city of Mokha, Taiz Governorate, a Saudi military delegation from the coalition command in Aden, led by Brigadier General Hussein Awad Al-Harbi.
During the meeting, they discussed the efforts and readiness of the Yemeni naval forces and coast guard, and ways to support and develop them to enhance their role in securing Yemen’s maritime borders and protecting them from terrorist threats, as part of the region’s efforts on both banks of the Red Sea, to maintain the security and peace of the region and spare it conflicts and tensions.< /p>
The two sides affirmed their keenness to continue coordination and cooperation between the two countries, and to work jointly to protect international shipping lines in the Red Sea and maintain the security and safety of the region.
The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Coast Guard Forces of the Red Sea Sector - Brigadier General Abdul-Jabbar Al-Zahzouh, the Commander of the 1st Marine Infantry Brigade - Brigadier General Bahiji Al-Ramadi, the Commander of the 2nd Marine Infantry Brigade - Brigadier General Abdullah Fakhri, and Brigadier General Mohammed Mohammed Abdullah Saleh.
