The legitimate government announces its readiness to participate in a military coalition to protect maritime navigation

The internationally recognized Yemeni government in Aden said on Tuesday that it had received an American invitation to participate in a military coalition to protect shipping ships in the Red Sea.
The government confirmed its response to the American invitation, expressing its readiness to participate in the formation of naval forces units, in order to confront the attacks launched by the “Houthi” group on maritime trade ships.
On December 5, Israel officially went to several countries, including Britain and Japan, with the aim of forming a dedicated operational force to work in the Red Sea in order to ensure the freedom of shipping lanes there, according to Israeli media.
This came after the attacks that targeted three commercial ships and an American destroyer in the Red Sea at the beginning of this December.
According to Israeli media, the special force that Israel seeks to form will operate within the framework of a multinational coalition in the Bab al-Mandab Strait region.
Israel is preparing for more attacks by the Houthis in Yemen on Israeli ships or those that have relations with Israeli businessmen, and ways of working are being examined, not necessarily independently, but also within a coalition of countries.
Since the start of the war in Gaza, the Israeli Navy has expanded its activities in the Red Sea, mainly with the aim of carrying out air protection missions, that is, thwarting air threats from the direction of Yemen to the city of Eilat.
On December 3, Maariv newspaper reported that Tel Aviv sent several warships and an advanced submarine to the Red Sea, confirming that Israel coordinates all its movements with the United States, whose ships are in the Red Sea.
Then the White House stated that the attacks in the Red Sea were “fully supported by Iran, even though the Houthis were the ones who carried them out in Yemen,” while Iran denied accusations of its involvement in these attacks, according to the Israeli “i24News” channel.
