Today, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation for the Production Sector, Abdul-Malik Naji, and the Director-General of the Tuban District, Mohsen Al-Saqqaf, launched a campaign to remove illegal residential construction developments and encroachments on agricultural lands and irrigation canals, in the Al-Mahlawi Bezig area in the Tuban District.

The agent, Abdul Malik, explained that the campaign aims to prevent construction on agricultural lands, as this is considered a legal violation that deprives people of benefiting from agricultural lands. He pointed out that there are other areas in the Tuban District that have been affected by random construction, and the Ministry and the governorate will later work to implement campaigns to remove them.

He added that the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation has prepared a draft decision to stop residential construction on agricultural lands, and it is now in its final stages of approval.
