The Director of the Aden Capital Police, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, yesterday dismissed the Basateen Police Chief, Musleh Al-Dharhani, after confrontations witnessed around the ship’s tour.

According to "Scoop 24 News" sources in the security belt, the reason behind the dismissal of Al-Dharhani (Akhlaqi) affects the reputation of the security, and Al-Shuaibi quickly dismissed him and appointed another in his place.

According to the sources, the reason is his reservations and defense of one of those wanted in sodomy cases called “Al-Raghwa” and his refusal to hand him over to the Security Belt.

Al-Dharhani tried to defend him by force, and raided the officer’s house in the security belt. After that, the issue of the clashes that took place on the ship’s tour reached the Security Committee in the capital, Aden, and the Transitional Council, which decided to punish Al-Dharhani by dismissing him from the police and forcefully arresting Al-Rahwa, who was accused of practicing vice with children.
