The residents of the Al-Lahm (Al-Masharri) area in Lahj Governorate, today, Friday, denounced the encroachments and random laying on 50th Street, which is a vital artery for the region.

The residents confirmed, in a statement issued by them, that these encroachments threaten the safety of the street and cause major traffic jams.

The people called on the local authorities, led by the Governor of Lahj, Major General Ahmed Abdullah Al-Turki, the Director of Security, Brigadier General Hussein Ahmed Muhammad Al-Junaidi, the Commander of the Security Belt in the Governorate, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Saeedi, and the Land Protection Commander, Qasim Al-Habaa, to intervene immediately to stop these violations.

The residents stressed that this street belongs to everyone, and no person or entity has the right to seize it.

The people called on all human rights organizations and activists to stand with them in the face of these violations.

The documents attached to the news show the spread of meat on 50th Street by the influential Saidi, and the spread process takes place in broad daylight and in front of the eyes of all authorities.
